The Road to Spider-Man: Far From Home

As the year comes to a close, it's time to reflect on the long and winding road that has brought us to where we are today. For many of us, it's been a journey filled with twists and turns, unexpected surprises, and moments of uncertainty.

For those who blipped away halfway through the school year, like my friend Jason Ionello, it's been particularly challenging. He's now older than his little brother due to the peculiarities of time dilation that occurred during the Blip. Yes, math can be confusing, but even more so when you're dealing with five years of lost time.

For those who didn't blip, life went on as usual. They grew up, moved forward, and continued their lives without interruption. But for us, time stood still. We remained frozen in a moment from the past, unable to move forward or make progress.

The Blip was a strange and mysterious phenomenon that wiped out half of all life in the universe, including our own Midtown High School. It was as if time itself had been reset, erasing entire years from existence. But then, eight months ago, a group of brave heroes brought us back. They restored balance to the universe, allowing us to restart our lives and move forward.

As we look back on this year, it's clear that it has been nothing short of historic. The Blip may be behind us, but its impact will be felt for years to come. It's a reminder of the power of resilience, friendship, and determination in the face of uncertainty.

In the words of Quentin Beck, 'You don't want any part of this.' But that doesn't mean we're immune to the challenges that lie ahead. We must continue to adapt, learn from our experiences, and push forward into an unknown future.
